National Climate Change Action Plan (NCCAP)
As custodians of Mukogodo Forest, the Yiaku people contribute to carbon sequestration, sustainable land use, and nature-based solutions — all emphasized in Kenya’s climate agenda.

– African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR)
The Trust’s work upholds the rights of indigenous peoples to self-determination, land, language, and development as recognized under the ACHPR and the Banjul Declaration.
